Terahertz therapy
Terahertz therapy is offered here at Equilibrate Acupuncture. This advanced healing modality allows us to help patients with a wide array of pains and ailments, such as:

ATP RESONANCE BIOTHERAPY
Utilizing a wide array of various frequencies corresponding to different parts of the body, ATP Resonance Biotherapy treats pain and other ailments using minuet, or low-level, electrical currents. These electrical currents deliver frequencies to alter the body’s chemistry, alleviating the body of inflammation and pain, or improving circulation.
Our proprietary ATP Resonance Biotherapy devices were designed in part by Dr. Lanie Quan, making them an integral healing modality in Equilibrate Acupuncture’s treatments.

CRANIAL ELECTROTHERAPY STIMULATION
Cranial Electrotherapy Stimulation, or CES, is the application of gentle microcurrent to stimulate tissue in the hypothalamic areas of the brain in order to treat neurochemical imbalances that can cause anxiety, frenetic thought, compulsive behavior and disrupted sleep-wake cycles.
The hypothalamus controls a wide array of bodily functions, including appetite, temperature regulation, weight control, blood pressure, heart rate, sleep cycles and emotion. The gentle stimulation from CES prompts the brain to return to a state of homeostasis and normalized production of neurotransmitters in order to restore proper chemical rhythm. CES promotes healthy serotonin, melatonin, and B-Endorphin levels while decreasing cortisol, the “stress” hormone that can throw one’s body out of balance.
CES has been clinically proven to improve symptoms of depression, anxiety, stress and insomnia, and may increase mental clarity, focus and alertness, all without the use of pharmaceutical medication. CES is enacted via ear clips that resonate with a gentle stimulation.
